Pty Ltd ( AMMS) is the holder of licensed production
within the Group.
40mm Fuze production
AMMS was awarded a local manufacturing license
from JUNGHANS MICROTEC Germany.
The technology transfer and production line
establishment was made possible under the Defence
Industrial Participation Programme (DIP)
Self Destruct Fuzing ensures no Explosive Remnants
of War remain to injure own advancing troops
or the returning civilian population.
Self Destruct fuzes meet STANAG 4403 requirements
for:
- High velocity fuzing for Automatic Grenade
Launchers.
- Medium velocity fuzing for extended range
weapons
- Low velocity fuzing for standard personal
infantry weaponry
AMMS is licensed to export the 40mm fuze internationally
subject to Government export approvals.
Production line is ISO 9001 approved.
The fuzes are air cargo transportable Class 1.4D
The Self Destruct Fuze design meets the UN Convention
on Conventional Weapons (CCW Protocol V) requirements
for reduction of unexploded ordnance (UXO’s).

Mortar Fuzing
The fuze licensed production capability is
currently being expanded to mortar mechanical
fuzing to produce the DM111 and DM92 series
fuzes under license.
